People Operations Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the People Operations Coordinator provides human resources support with general HR tasks and executive support to the Director of Human Resources, Director, Recruiting, and Director and Head of Talent. The People Operations Coordinator will also assist in the offboarding and onboarding of new hires and work directly with the HR Coordinator on various HR matters as they arise.

 

Key Responsibilities

Director Level Support and HR Administration

  • Maintain the calendars of the Director of Human Resources, Director of Recruiting, and Director and Head of Talent and assist with management and processing of expenses,
  • Take detailed meeting notes and curate action items and follow-ups as needed in confidential HR and Talent meetings,
  • Work closely with Schmidt Futures team members to support a successful onboarding experience to new hires,
  • Support HR Administrative Onboarding tasks such as scheduling meetings with Managers, IT, and other stakeholders and providing checklists to hiring managers
  • Assist with administrative recruiting tasks, such as interview scheduling, candidate expense reporting, as needed,
  • Assist the Operations team with workplace matters (such as return to work, compliance posters, etc.) as requested, 
  • Assist with other HR administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have at least 2 years of work experience in an HR/People Operations executive administrative support role.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Have demonstrated teamwork ability and record of impact in high-intensity, team-based environments.
  • Have the highest integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest levels.
  • Be based in the Schmidt Futures offices in New York.
