Amira Hannon is an analyst supporting the Reimagine NY Commission, helping New York State to build back better from Covid-19.
Previously, Amira was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where she focused primarily in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications practice area serving clients on topics such as hybrid, multi-cloud strategy, software post-merger integration, infrastructure demand management, and go to market transformation. Most recently she worked alongside Givewith, a social impact technology company, and BCG Digital Ventures to incubate a social enterprise in the real estate space.
Prior to BCG, Amira worked as an partner success intern at AdmitHub where she trained AI chatbots to support students navigating college admissions processes. She also worked as an innovation strategist at the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching where she designed programs to support student entrepreneurship and learning innovation.
She currently serves on the junior board of directors for the Castle Hill YMCA in the Bronx, New York and was a founding board member of the Harlem Chapter of the National CARES Mentoring Movement. Amira graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences and will be pursuing her MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
