Claire Ashmead is an Analyst at Schmidt Futures, focusing on data analytics and research.
Prior to Schmidt Futures, Claire served as an intern in the offices of Senator Sherrod Brown and assisted in a lab at Case Western Reserve University studying neurotransmitter function during epileptic attacks. In college she worked in the Department of Documentation of the Musée d’Orsay and lived for one year addressing water purification and distribution in rural China. She began her work with Schmidt Futures implementing the third research phase for Rise.
Claire holds an A.B. in History, Chinese Language, and Creative Writing from Princeton University. She earned an M.Sc. in writing from the University of Edinburgh.
