Hadar Sachs is a Strategist at Schmidt Futures focusing on civic engagement investments.
Prior to Schmidt Futures, Hadar served in several donor advising roles including as Director of Programs for Mind the Gap, a political donor advisory based in the Bay Area. There she managed diligence, portfolio support, and impact evaluation while also raising funds from major donors nation-wide. Before that Hadar deployed with FEMA following Category 5 Hurricanes Irma and Maria (2017). She drove a three-island community planning process to engage residents in the Territory’s recovery and connected community-based organizations with federal funds to implement key recovery projects across energy, agriculture, and transportation sectors.
Since 2014 Hadar has worked with Cornell University’s Intergroup Dialogue Project. Her current project investigates new models for diversity and inclusion curriculum in higher education.
Hadar holds a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University.
