Raya Kuo is an Associate Product Manager at Schmidt Futures. As part of the inaugural class of APMs, she provides technical and product guidance for projects using data science and machine learning to advance social good.
Prior to Schmidt Futures, Raya interned at Google and Microsoft as a product manager and software engineer. She also worked at the nutritional nonprofit Project Open Hand, where she designed a resource center for low-income clients with chronic illnesses. She studied abroad abroad twice in college: the first time at National Taiwan University in Taipei, during which she also interned as a program manager working on Cortana parter enablement in Asia. Then she studied at ACCENT Center in Rome, while writing articles about food policy, restaurants, and assorted fun tidbits for the blog An American in Rome.
Raya holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
