Stephanie Bryson is a Manager, Special Projects at Schmidt Futures.
Prior to Schmidt Futures, Stephanie worked for Uber, the global ridesharing company, where she led a team responsible for the development and execution of Uber’s global public policy strategies related to consumer protection. During her time at Uber, Stephanie managed relationships with a variety of government, advocacy, civil society, and expert stakeholders on topics ranging from data privacy and security to road safety and women’s safety and was responsible for shaping Uber’s corporate practices on these issues. Stephanie was previously a member of Google’s public policy strategy team where she worked to enhance Google’s consumer-facing privacy tools.
A proud Southern Californian, Stephanie earned her B.A. in International Studies and German Studies from California State University Long Beach and holds an MPhil in International Relations from Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
